ATTITUDE

“Try or Do”

As much as we would all like to believe that “we are what we are“, it really only boils down to your outlook, and the attitude you choose to display about the events that unfold in your little corner of the globe, and virtually nothing to do with the actual circumstances that may arise. I know full well how the everyday pounding of the circumstantial waves of life can drive you to believe that life is all about the sufferings, much less, any purpose for  it all. But there is a little secret that if or when you find it will “set you free” both inside and out.
Have you ever stopped to wonder why, something identical can happen in two separate lives and, in that, have two completely different responses? One is negative and the other positive…  If you ponder that fact alone, you can’t help but come to the conclusion that it can’t be the circumstance, (because that was identical) and it has to be the way someone chooses to respond to any given event. (because that was the only difference) Some will argue that, “that is just the way I am”, but a reaction never defines the person, it is merely a habitual reaction to what has been taught due to watching someone else perform the same behavior. Usually upbringing by parents or a heavy influence by pears, etc. However, just like anything can be learned by a desire to do so, something that was inadvertently taught, can also be UN-taught, if you will, and re-taught correctly to function properly within the guidelines of a healthy behavior pattern.

Each new day brings fresh ideas, opportunities, choices, and a drive to become better then you were yesterday, And as crazy as it seems to be, it really and truly only boils down to the way YOU CHOOSE, to respond or react to anything life gives you on a daily basis. It might take a little time, depending on how routed you are in your behavior patterns, but you CAN strive to change into the positive person you CAN be IF you set your mind like bedrock and throw away the word “try” and replace it with “do”.
You very rarely succeed at anything if you “try“, but your chances of success increase exponentially if you set out to “do” instead.
In other words, make it a lifestyle.
